World of mean machines: Amby Valley Run 2k17!!!

What will you get when you add an empty airstrip and a hell lot of horsepower?? A crazy speed fest!!

Whats up guys!!! Revminister here and welcome to the world of mean machines!!

Recently the 5th edition of The Valley Run took place at the Amby valley airstrip in Lonavala.

The valley run is a crazy speed fest which is all about the fastest vehical crossing the finish line quater mile away in the minimum amount of time.

All sorts of cars...weather they are street cars or specially tuned cars, come here every year to quench their thirst of adrenaline. The only objective here, is to go faster then the next guy!

The machines which come here are made for sheer thrill of acceleration!!

On normal days Amby valley is actual a vacation destination situated between the scenic wester ghat. It is a heaven for those who want to take a short brake from their daily routine. It's actually a pretty peaceful destination. But every year for one weekend this peaceful place wakes up to screeching tires, burning rubber and the noise of the high revving engines.

All types of cars are present there, right from hot hatches to super sedans, from coupes to convertibles!! There are Lamborghinies, Ferraris, Aston Martins and a lots of other eyecandy for the passionate spectators who gather there every year in huge numbers!!

The Valley Run is India's only premier drag racing event organised by elite octane every year!!

It was initiated in 2013 and this year it celebrated its 5th anniversary.

Also this year there were about 600 entries, which have been highest so far!!

But if you want to view the original action...then my friend you must visit the pits!! Because that's where the last minute adjustment and tune ups take place!!

And did I mention the bikes?
Yes all sorts of crazy bikes...right from RX100 to Hayabusas. And not only that, there are customised bike which are specially created just to shave of those extra 10th of seconds.

Also this year they included a champion's training Academy, where 11x times drag racing champion Ricky Gadson taught our riders on how to imporve their reaction time and their overall performance!

The fastest car present at the event was the Lamborghini Huracan and the award of fastest bike was stolen by the epitome of performance, that is the BMW S1000RR.
